It’s Not Just Your Thyroid or Menopause

You Have to Restore Balance to Your

6 Fat Burning and 3 Fat Storing Hormones.

How should you eat to restore balance to your fat burning and fat storing hormones?

Well, that depends greatly on which hormones are out of balance.  For example, if your thyroid hormones like T3 and T4 are low, then a lower carbohydrate diet combined with lots of sprouts, sea vegetables and ample protein might be best.

On the other hand, if your igf-1 (insulin like growth factor-1–a fat burning hormone made in the liver) is low, you may want to increase resistance training and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale and purple cabbage.

Ultimately, we need to identify the hormonal imbalance present, and more importantly, we have to understand and identify why these hormones went out of balance.

The graph below shows the 6 main fat storing and 3 main fat burning hormones.  Now, there are certain problems that arise in the body that knock these hormones clear out of balance.  “Balance” is the key word and here’s why.

Sometimes medical lab says “everything is normal.”  Your numbers may very well be “in range” but they are probably not “in balance.”  When it comes to healthy weight loss, a healthy mind and a healthy body, it’s all about hormonal balance.

Also, I’d like to say, it’s not about forcing the weight off your body with some fad diet.  Over the last 21 years, how many “diets” have claimed that they are the next best thing?  The truth is, there is no magical diet that is the answer for everyone.

The only true life long solution to attaining and maintaining a healthy weight is to identify your hormonal imbalances and get your body healthy, once and for all.

That’s exactly what the Hormonal Weight Loss Diet is, its a way to identify the hormonal imbalances present in your body and then to understand how to eat and the nutritional support you may need to support hormonal balance and healthy weight loss.

In this case you are losing weight because you are getting healthier.  We are not treating your hormones or your body, we are just giving the body what it needs so it can heal and re-balance itself.

In fact, one of the things I found to often be true is a healthy body will not hold excess fat.  Isn’t that interesting?

So, it’s really about getting your body healthy so it can lose the weight not the other way around.
