Is your thyroid behind your brain symptoms? Anxiety, depression , insomnia, chronic fatigue, brain fog and many more symptoms can be linked to thyroid issues.
How do you know if you have thyroid brain?
It is very important to identify the root cause of your symptoms. A lot of people will start using supplements or pharmaceutical drugs for anxiety, depression, insomnia and so on. All this does is mask the problem.
Some thyroid symptoms you may experience are:
- loss of hair
- thinning hair
- loss of the outer 1/4 of your eyebrow
- carbohydrate cravings
- weak or brittle nails
- extra skin under your arms
- weight gain all over your body
If you have these symptoms and you’re also suffering from depression, lack of focus, brain fog, or anything along those lines it’s possible that your could have thyroid brain.
If you have primary hypothyroidism (NO Hashimoto’s, no elevated TPO, or Thyroglobulin and your antibodies are ok) you want to use quality iodine sources such as kelp, nori, dulse, hijiki, or bladderwrack.
If you have problems with concentration, focus or depression we want to use N-acetyltyrosine. You don’t want to use N-acetyltyrosine if there is anxiety or adrenal problems present because it can worsen it.
We also want to use the following foods:
- wild caught salmon
- wild caught cod
- wild caught shrimp
If you don’t have Hashimoto’s you can lessens the intake of cruciferous vegetables and have foods that have the enzyme called Superoxide dismutase or (SOD). Superoxide dismutase is a very important enzyme because it cleans your thyroid. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) can be found in wheatgrass juice, peas, and asparagus.
For a person to lose weight and truly be healthy they have to identify the Root Cause to their weight & health problem.
