Brazil nuts in my opinion are the healthiest nut you can eat. They contain more selenium than any other nut with an average of 96 mcg per nut. However, Brazil nuts may contain as 400 mcg per nut.
The US RDA for selenium is 55 mcgs and for pregnant woman its about 70 mcgs. You can clearly see that 1 Brazil nut should be enough to meet most people’s daily requirements.
