Alternacare Holistic Healthcare and Weight Loss facility is an alternative healthcare clinic whose entire purpose is to get to the root cause of your health problem and then help your body regain its health. By alternative we mean a form of healthcare that is an alternative to traditional medical care that you would receive in most medical offices. At Alternacare, we offer natural approaches to health and weight problems. Instead of diagnosing and treating a disease or health condition with drugs and surgery, we evaluate the body by using special exam procedures and holistic labs. Holistic labs are not commonly done in medical offices. A holistic lab differs from a traditional medical lab in that it is not intended to be used for diagnosis or treatment. Its purpose is to help find what is stopping the body from healing itself. The truth is the body should heal itself and if it’s not it’s because something is blocking it from doing so. 

There are two rules you must obey and one other fact you must understand when trying to help the body heal itself or lose weight. 

Anything in the body can cause anything in the body.

Your goal should be to find out WHAT is causing the problem with your body.

At Alternacare we use a unique exam procedure. Almost every single patient that is examined by our doctors says “They have never had an exam like that EVER!” The exam procedure helps us find the part of the body that is under "Stress." Once we’ve identified the part of your body that is under stress we then use highly sensitive laboratory tests including; saliva studies for hormones, urine studies to identify specific toxic chemicals that may be in your body, stool studies that look for parasites, yeast, mold, fungus and bacteria, hair studies for toxic metals and many other labs. Once the labs come back we usually have a good idea as to what is really behind your health problem. We can now customize a natural program for you designed to support your body's natural ability to get well. Your program may include organic whole food supplements, herbs, minerals, vitamins, natural hormone supplements and/or a specific diet to help support the rebuilding of a damaged organ or gland.

Customization is Key!

General cleanses, detoxes, parasite cleanse and general supplements you purchase at your local health food store are good but honestly they may not be the answer. You must get specific! General is not always effective. This is why there are many different diets. You have to find the one that is right for your body type. If the Atkins diet was the exact right diet for every human on planet earth then eventually every person would end up eating like Atkins tells you too. Our labs and exam procedure help us devise a customized eating and supplementation program to help you in achieving your healthcare goals.

About the Founder of Alternacare

Dr. Robert DeBease is the Executive Director of Alternacare and has been in practice since 1997. He has done and continues to do extensive research to find more effective ways to help his patients.

As Dr. DeBease states, his goal for each of his patients is to find out WHAT is causing their problem instead of simply covering up their symptoms, and then helping them naturally.

Dr. DeBease is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who has a BS in Natural Health Sciences. He uses a variety of complex laboratory analysis to help his patients get well. The labs he uses include; hormonal studies done through saliva, stool studies to find parasites and other intestinal pathogens, organic acid studies to evaluate the presence of toxins in the body and hair studies to evaluate the presence of toxic metals in the body, to name a few. He uses these labs as a method to develop sound nutritional support for the body, helping the body to regain its health. He does not “treat” disease.

Dr. DeBease is also a certified Sclerologist (uses herbs, vitamins and minerals to support the body’s ability to get well). He studied extensively in Nutritional Response Testing (use of nutrition to improve the health of the body), Clinical Nutrition (the use of specific supplements to support damaged organs and glands) and has studies in a host of other techniques such as, homeopathy, herbology and Chinese medicine.

Dr. DeBease has done over 300 public lectures and has been a guest speaker for many corporations, churches and business organizations such as; Delta Airlines, Atlanta Gas and Light, Georgia Power and Charter Communications to name a few.

Where Our Patients Live

Our clinic is located just south of the city of Atlanta in Georgia, however, we see patients that live all over the country.  This map represents some of the other locations where our patients live.  If you live far away we can still help you.  The distance is not really much of an issue.  If you can't fly in to see us that's not a problem either.  With email, phone and all the other technological advances that the 21st Century has brought us, we can work very closely with you.  Lab kits can be shipped out to you and many of the labs can be done in the comfort of your own home.  When we get the results a copy is emailed or faxed to you and a phone consultation is schedule to review your results and start your body on the road to wellness.

If you are close enough we do recommend you come in but if the distance is too far, no worries, we can still work with you :)!!!
