His practice, AlternaCare Weight Loss & Holistic Healthcare, was awarded “Top Ten Small Business of the Year” by The Newnan Chamber of Commerce and was voted best Alternative Medicine Clinic by Kudzu in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Dr. DeBease has recently stated, “I’ve been in private practice for over 19 years and my goal for each one of my patients is to find out what is causing their health and weight problems. Every weight and health issue has a cause. I want to know what it is and so should each patient. No patient should be OK with simply using a medication, a fad diet or nutritional supplement to “manage” a symptom or weight issue. The symptom is being caused by something. When you step on a dog’s tail where does the bark come from? Should we drug the dog or cut out it’s tongue? No of course not. You’d just stop stepping on his tail. If a patient is overweight and having trouble losing it I promise there is a reason. Every patient has a cause to their health and weight problem. Once I find what is causing their problem, I then create a customized natural heath-restoration program focused on addressing the cause to their weight or health concern. I do not treat disease, or treat weight loss, I help the person create a healthy body by addressing the cause of these issues. I know what it’s like to be sick and overweight and I also know what it’s like to feel great. I want all my patients feel great!”
